School Field Trips

Meadow's Edge Farm is the perfect location to host your class field trip
for a fabulous learning experience.

Bring your class to Meadow's Edge Farm for a fun and educational field trip. We offer an outside pavillion, as well as indoor space with tables and chairs inside of our brand new barn. Pack a lunch and eat in our outdoor pavillion or at tables inside of our barn. We can provide coolers to keep all lunches and drinks cold while the students explore the farm.

A class trip to Meadow's Edge Farm is not only a day filled with fun, it is educational too! Children will have the opportunity to interact with and feed the alpacas and other farm animals in addition to learning how a real farm is run. They will also learn many facts about alpacas like where they come from, how they are cared for and what products can be made from their wool.

There is plenty of open space to explore on our farm with
a large play area that includes a swingset, sliding boards, toys, hula-hoops and a unique sand box filled with kernels of dried corn. In addition to fun on our playground, we
also provide and organize many additional activities.

Children can play organized games like Tug-of-War, have old fashioned sack races or many other games and have their pictures taken in our alpaca cut-outs. With advance notice, we can also provide activities like face painting or various arts and crafts. Students can also have the opportunity to take a fun ride on a pony cart, which can accommodate several children at one time

Students will have the opportunity to interact with the alpacas. Grain is always provided for children
to feed the alpacas, goats and other assorted animals that we have in our Critter Corral.
This is usually the highlight of the student's day!
